All vehicles manufactured in Australia and New Zealand after January 1, 2006, were required to be OBD-compliant. Some vehicles manufactured before this date are OBD-compliant, but this varies significantly between manufacturers and models.
It's the perfect GPS vehicle tracker for rental fleets where a hard-wired installation is undesirable. The OBD2 port is generally on the driver's side within 30cm from the steering wheel.
