The Yabby GPS provides all the features of the popular Oyster 3 and Remora 3 in a small form factor. The small size is perfect for mounting to small assets or in a concealed location. Available in 4G Cat-M1/Nb-IoT
The 4G modem allows for extremely low power consumption and a compact size. Even with the small AAA batteries, up to 3 years of battery life is achievable!
TINY FORM FACTOR
The Yabby measures just 85 x 63 x 24 mm! Enclosed in the housing are the GPS and cellular antennas, plus the 3-x AAA battery holder.
The tiny size means it can be attached to any number of assets, such as trailers, toolboxes, pallets, beer kegs, bikes, animals, livestock, and parcels.
Conceal it in trailer lights or hide it in bags; the possibilities are endless!
4G CAT-M1/NB-IOT MODEM
The Yabby's 4G modem is compatible with Cat-M1 and Nb-IoT networks, enabling great new benefits.
In our testing, we have measured that our new Cat-M1 devices use anywhere from 1/2 to 1/3 of the power of our 3G devices to perform a data upload. This allows the Yabby to still have excellent battery life (up to 3 years) on just 3 AAA batteries!
This has been a game changer for us. We've installed it on our widely Dad's bike. He has onset of dementia and when we can't find him we can easily track where he is to know he is safe. The geocache area is just brilliant and the speed limit on it to so we know the bike hasn't been stolen.
Before embarking on a caravan trip to the northwest of WA, we had vehicle tracking devices installed by Keep Track GPS. The 4WD was fitted with a ‘Dart’ and the caravan with a ‘Yabby’. Travelling north on the costal highway and visiting most towns to Port Hedland and then returning by the inland highway, both units operated as advertised. Using the phone app I was able to continuously monitory our position, as was our family in Perth. Very happy with our purchase.
