    With the GT2s, connectivity is delivered through the fully secure global Iridium Satellite Network and features 2-way communication and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity. Paired with Geoforce’s complete line of GPS tracking devices and Track & Trace software, you now have the ability to gather, interpret, and put data from the edge of your operation to work.

    The GT2s is a standalone and programmable, solar-powered Short Burst Data® (SBD®) device designed to be used in tough environments for either mobile or fixed asset monitoring. It supports real-time GPS tracking, local wireless sensors, and communication capabilities over Bluetooth. Its backup battery will support reporting up to twice daily for five years. The GT2s is also built with an incredible IP68 rating against water and dust. It can operate from -40°C to 85°C.

    The GT2s is ideal for asset tracking applications including vessel monitoring, lone workers, leisure craft, fleet management, security, and mining oil and gas applications. It's ATEX/IECEx for Zone 0 hazardous explosive environments rating allows it to operate safely in the most challenging explosive environments.

    Highly Mobile: The Iridium satellite network provides communications and connectivity for mobile applications like oil and gas, transportation, agriculture, and surface mining anywhere on the planet, allowing tracking and monitoring of vehicles and assets operating in remote areas.

    Reliable Coverage – Devices using the Iridium satellite network are enabled by a constellation of 66 Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) mobile satellites that provide service anywhere on the planet.

    Low Latency – The Iridium satellites in Low-Earth Orbit (~800 km), enable signals to travel in 1/40 the time compared to geostationary satellites (36,000 km), resulting in low-latency, always-on connections ideal for Internet of Things (IoT) deployments.
