What is NB-IoT?
NB-IoT is a low-power, wide-area cellular network (LPWAN) technology which uses 200KHz of bandwidth to transfer data. The maximum upload data transfer rate is around 62.5kb per second.
The slower data transfer rate is offset by lower power consumption and device affordability.
Despite offering excellent stationery range and penetration, it is important to note that the NB-IoT network does not support cell tower handover. This means that if devices move out of frequency range, the signal connection will fail.
Should I Use NB-IoT devices for my Asset Tracking?
NB-IoT Asset Tracking devices are designed for assets that do not need to send frequent updates, 1 - 4 Locations ever 24 hours and require a longer battery life. This may be a more suitable technology for your long-term tracking requirements.

The minimum cost for NB-IoT WI-FI Premium service one over 12 months is $100.68, service two $105.36, service three $110.04 on service four $114.72, plus cost of Yabby Edge device.
Location Engine premium WI-FI service is provided by Google's geolocation service. If you require Location Engine Data to be forwarded, the only available format is http Json, please contact us for pricing.
