REMORA Magnetic Tamper Detect
The Remora3 battery-powered GPS has a recess in the housing where a magnet (supplied with the device) slots in. When installing the Remora3 tracking device, the magnet can be glued to any asset with the Remora GPS positioned over the top and the magnet sitting inside the recess.
The Remora GPS tracker is equipped with a hall effect sensor on the circuit board, which can detect changes in the magnetic fields near the device. As soon as the Remora3 is removed from the asset (with the magnet still in place), the device will realise the magnetic field has changed and will trigger an immediate tamper alert.
The Remora3 is a solid GPS tracker with a rugged housing perfect for anti-theft tracking. The perfect caravan tracker or trailer tracking device The alert is then sent to you via email or smartphone notification through the Telematics Guru Smartphone App.
